Mobiniti now supports Long SMS which allows you to send up to 8 SMS segments (1,280 characters maximum). For every SMS segment or "message" (as referred to underneath the message character counter) used will count as either a SMS credit or rate per SMS message depending on your plan type.

If you are on a monthly SMS credit plan, it will take from your credits first before your balance. If you work off of a monetary balance (i.e. pay as you go), it will deduct from your monetary balance by your rate per SMS.

When creating your campaign X messages Used beneath the character counter highlights this. In the image below 3 SMS messages have been used.

If your SMS rate is $0.05 per SMS message and you send a 161 character long SMS message (2 SMS messages used) to 1,000 contacts, it will cost approximately $100.00 USD. 1,000 contacts x ($0.05 x 2 SMS).

Once you go over 160 characters and Long SMS starts to be used, the increments of message lengths per segment slightly changes. See below:
