🔧 What you’ll need
Access to your domain’s DNS settings (typically through your domain provider like GoDaddy, Namecheap, etc.).
All new domains will now require 3 DNS Records
Add your domain to Mobiniti
Before updating DNS, you’ll need to enter your domain in the platform.
Go to Settings
Select the Short Links tab
Scroll to Short Link Domain
Enter your branded domain (example:
april.com)Click Save
💡 Tip: After saving, Mobiniti will generate the DNS records you need to add.
Example
We’ll use april.com as an example domain.
1. Add an A Record
This connects your domain to our system via IPv4.
Host: @
Value: 77.83.141.224
2. Add a CNAME Record
This is used for domain verification.
Host: _acme-challenge
Value: april.com.rglm.flydns.net
(Replace “april.com” with your actual domain name.)
3. Add an AAAA Record
This connects your domain via IPv6 for improved compatibility and performance.
Host: @
Value: 2a09:8280:1:8a8a:ea19:cb8a:c59a:b5d2
⚠️ Troubleshooting
If your branded domain isn’t working:
Double-check that all three records are entered exactly as shown
Confirm there are no duplicate or conflicting records
Reach out to support if the issue persists after propagation time
