A Bounce Message is a message that fails to be delivered to the recipient's phone number. This can happen for several reasons and typically results in a system notification or report indicating the message was "bounced."

Common Reasons for a Bounce Message in Mobiniti:

  1. Invalid Phone Number – The recipient's number is not formatted correctly or doesn’t exist.

  2. Carrier Filtering – Mobile carriers might block the message if it’s flagged as spam or violates regulations.

  3. Opt-Out Numbers – The recipient has previously opted out of receiving messages (replied STOP).

  4. Disconnected Number – The phone number is no longer active.

  5. Full Inbox or Temporary Network Issue – Less common, but still possible.

You can reset Bounced Messages by using the following steps:

  • Navigate to Settings: From your Mobiniti dashboard, click on Settings.

  • Access Message Settings: In the Settings menu, select Message Settings.

  • Locate Reset Option: Within Message Settings, find the option labeled Reset Bounced Contacts.
