New Form Submission Adds New Contact in Mobiniti

  1. You will need a property to filter from HubSpot to use this successfully and remain compliant.

  2. In HubSpot navigate to Settings > Properties > Create property

Create a checkbox property in HubSpot

  1. Label = (Optional) Sign me up for SMS marketing messages from {Company}

  2. To remain Compliant you must include the statement below.
I consent to receive recurring autodialed SMS/MMS promotional messages. No purchase is required. Msg Frequency Varies. Msg&data rates may apply. Reply HELP for help, STOP to end.

  3. Apply the optional checkbox on the form

  4. Zapier will allow you to filter based on whether or not the checkbox is checked

End Result:

Create the Zap!
In Zapier the sequence of events is as follows:

  1. Create Event = New Form Submission in HubSpot

  2. Connect a HubSpot Account via Zapier

    1. The HubSpot Form Trigger is where you will pick which HubSpot form is being filled out

  3. Test Trigger

  4. Create a filter

    1. Look for the optional checkbox

    2. Boolean = True

  5. Mobiniti App

    1. Create Contact

    2. Connect your Mobiniti Account

      1. Phone Number Field = Phone Number

Note: All other fields are optional

      2. Choose one of your Mobiniti Groups

  6. Test the Integration!

This will now send contacts from a HubSpot form submission into your Mobiniti account!

Message Received in Mobiniti = New Record in HubSpot

Use Zapier Webhooks to catch inbound messages and send them to HubSpot

  1. Select Webhooks by Zapier

  2. Event = Catch Hook

  3. Ignore Trigger and click continue

  4. Copy the Webhook URL

  5. Navigate to Settings > Notifications > Inbound Text Notification on the Mobiniti platform

  6. Paste the Zapier Webhook URL

  7. Choose "Reply From Your Device Template"

    1. This option will send you a message that reads <Incoming Phone Number><First Name> and as much of the message as can fit using the remaining characters.

  8. Check "Unknown Messages Only"

    1. Forward only messages with an invalid response to this webhook URL. It will exclude keywords, help, and stop messages

  9. In Zapier, choose the HubSpot event "Create Engagement"

  10. Connect your HubSpot Account

  11. Action

    1. Note Body = SMS From Phone Number + Message

    2. The email referenced is required for this to work

      1. HubSpot finds the connection via the contact's email address

This will now send any inbound messaging from the Mobiniti platform via Zapier directly into HubSpot!
