FAQs

What is MMS?

MMS stands for Multimedia Messaging Service. It was built using the same technology as SMS to allow SMS users to send multimedia content. It’s most popularly used to send pictures, but can also be used to send audio and video files.

MMS Plan Requirements:

If you are on a monthly plan, you must have originally signed up for a split SMS/MMS plan in order to use your monthly credits towards your MMS use-age. Alternatively, you can add funds in the form of a cash balance on your account and each MMS sent will be subtracted from the overall cash balance. Any questions on pricing, please message us on our live chat.

MMS Image Sizes:

When creating an MMS image, one of the most important things to get right is the sizing. If the sizing of the image is incorrect, your image will be blurry on mobile devices.

  • Dimensions: 1080 px by 1920 px

  • File Size: Less than 500 KB if sending on a Toll-Free Number and less than 740 KB if sending on a 10DLC (Local) Number
